I admit, listing Short Sales is probably alot better than having the buyers on a Short Sale...I always know the information first but I also hear the complaints...
I would like to think I am good at this but then you have the occasional basket case agent who ruffles the feathers of the process...IT IS A PROCESS...ONE THAT TAKES ALOT OF HANDS,PATIENCE & PRACTICE FOR APPROVALS...AND A LITTLE TIME.
I send out disclosures on my properties to agents, PLEASE LET YOUR BUYER KNOW ABOUT THE SHORT SALE PROCESS...Sometimes they get what I am saying, sometimes, they make it worse.

preforeclosure: REO Trans for Short Sales? - 11/16/09 01:31 PM
Need direction...have a Bank of America Short Sale in process and they called me...Good Right? Well...they gave me the website REOTrans.com to sign in as an agent...all well and good but it does not link me with my current offer...mind you I am the listing agent on the Short Sale...it did however give me access and let me list it on the site, I have offers in on the property and want to get this baby off my books....anyone have any calls on BofA properties, specifically Short Sales?

HUD PRE-FORECLOSURE & SHORT SALES PROGRAM
 
The Preforeclosure Sale Program allows a Mortgagor in default to sell his or her home and use
the sales proceeds to satisfy the mortgage debt, even if the proceeds are less than the amount
owed. Ref: Mortgagee Letters 2003-19 and 2008-43.
FACTS
 Outright sale of mortgaged property to a third party and must be an "arms length"
transaction.
 Outstanding indebtedness includes; unpaid principal balance + delinquent interest +

If you have decided to hedge your bets and try and sell your home before you foreclose, you are in luck...as more and more banks are trying to work with homeowners who have their homes on the market. This is still a great option if you can't make payments, can't modify your mortgage or your just going to walk away(however quite a bit of leg work).
