My sister, Susie works in the office at St. Phillip Neri School in Linthicum, MD.
She sent this email to me this morning and it was too cute not to share…….

One of the third grade classes has prayers they wrote to God posted out side their classroom.  They're really fun to read.  I thought you might enjoy some of them:

Dear God --   I try to pray every day but I just can't. I know I say mean … (6 comments)

Selling Your Ohio Home Will Require An Attitude Adjustment - 10/28/11 10:58 AM
The Title of Sharon's blog could be relabeled with every state in the country.  So, I am labeling it Selling Your Ohio Home Will Require An Attitude Adjustment

Sharon is right to the point on this one.  It is the message we deliver to our sellers over and over.  "Take emotion out of it....it is a business transaction, a means to get from point A to point B."  I can't make the house worth more than what the comps suggest.  It is what it is.  Buyers ultimately set the climate and conditions for a sale.
Thank you Sharon, for saying it … (1 comments)

Grand Prize Winning Film - 10/21/11 10:37 AM
Subject: Grand Prize Winning film...

This summer, Philips and director/producer Ridley Scott launched a global filmmaking competition dubbed "Tell It Your Way" following its Cannes Lions award-winning short-film project "Parallel Lines." The entrants were given freedom of expression and could take up any theme they wanted. There were two strict rules- (1) The dialogue could be precisely six-lines (as it was in the 'Parallel Lines' films), and (2) entries could not exceed three minutes. Here's the prize-winning entry in Philips' "Tell It Your Way" competition. Easy to see how it impressed and touched the judges. Watch it here:

Ohio Debuts Home Value Protection Insurance - 10/04/11 11:35 AM
Ohio was selected as the first state in the country to offer Home Value Protection.
For the homeowner trying to protect his investment, this new insurance program sounds too good to be true.
On the other hand, if it is “all that”, is it too little too late?

Wondering if this insurance company thinks we are at the bottom of the slide and won’t have to pay on too many of the claims.

Forgive me for being skeptical.

Start a Chain Reaction - 10/03/11 12:46 PM
Do you remember the quotable quotes from Reader’s Digest?
Years ago, I came across one that has come back to me over and over again.
Simply, it said, “You never know when you’re making a memory”.
What seem to be ordinary events in your daily life can become extraordinary influences in later years.
Case in point:  Rachel Joy Scott.  She was the first of the shooting victims at ColumbineHigh School on April 20, 1999.
Rachel kept a journal.  In it she wrote of hope and love, her dreams for the future and how she would be the one to make … (2 comments)
