As many of you know, our daughter Kelsey, or Krayphish as she's known on her blog and on Twitter, is an avid photographer and living in our house, a pet lover. Our pets are among her favorite topics for photographs and our cat Sherman provides plenty of material. Here he is in mid yawn, he must have been really tired! (12 comments)
This photo was just too hilarious to keep to myself, thanks to our friend Carole Provenzale (Feng Shui LI) :)
Via Carole Provenzale Owner, Feng Shui Long Island & New York (Feng Shui Long Island & New York City): Be CAREFUL What you Wish For........ Recently opened in Farmingdale, Long Island New York: Krispy Crème! Until just a year or so ago we only had Dunkin Donuts here on Long Island and one day we heard Krispy Crème was finally opening in just one area of the Island. The lines were long....they were a hit and have been opening branches (5 comments)
From the State Line Trail near Superior last week where Winter is starting to set in. We've had a little bit of snow in the valley but it hasn't lasted. Just a friendly reminder from Mother Nature that the Montana Winter is on its way. Here's Photos of this same area just a few weeks ago. (16 comments)
I wrote a blog post earlier this week about our fishing trip with one of our friends /clients on the Flathead River near Paradise, Montana. While he was out, he took the following photos of Bear prints along the river - apparently we weren't the only one fishing on the Flathead River! A Day Spent Fishing on the Flathead River
Kevin took this photo in one of his favorite areas at the top of a mountain near Pardee Creek in Superior. It overlooks the Lolo National Forest towards the towns of Paradise and Plains, MT. This area has abundant wildlife, and as you can tell, lots of timber and is a local favorite for recreation, hunting, and I guess picnicking! (9 comments)
Photos by Kelsey Ray (Krayphish) My daughter Kelsey took these photos of the Llamas / Alpacas at the Plains Fair that was held last weekend in Plains Montana. I thought it looked like he was whistling at someone. A lot of people in our area have llamas/alpacas with their horses or sheep to help protect them. (5 comments)
Bald Eagles are a frequent sight along the Clark Fork River. They seem to come back to the same areas so we know where to look for them and enjoy seeing them on our drive. We loved that he was sharing his branch with a crow - that was the first time we've seen that! Here's Another Bald Eagle Photo (13 comments)
I received this photo from my Dad in an email tonight with a message telling me that he found a great buy on a house in Paradise, Montana at 1/6th the price! My Dad's not one to look at real estate so I knew something was up. The attached photo gave me a good chuckle :) Hope you enjoy it too! (13 comments)
