I'm in Love Once More!    With my new IPAD 2 that is... - Now all I have to do is PEEL it away from my son!   I did have a moment to play with it last night and I can imagine having it as my only device when I visit a potential client, doing presentations, showing possible comps that I missed on a hard copy (or do I need a hard copy???) - I'm thinking of removing my data plan on my blackberry and just have the dataplan on the IPAD - It's so easy to carry around … (5 comments)

Good News for Medway Residents - 11/14/11 09:35 PM
Just came from Medway's Special Town Meeting tonight and among other warrants, the warrant that provided monies to take the Thayer Homestead Project to the next Level, was approved. At this point initial concept design was done. The next phase will define this important project in much more detail. We see this location as becoming a village green for Medway. It's in the perfect location for concerts, town events but also private functions. We're so excited that the town is behind us to take this project to the next level! Take a look at a concept animation!

One of Medway's Most Prized Possessions - 11/11/11 10:49 AM
The THAYER HOUSE is a 3+ Acre Property on one of the most attractive spots in Medway - abutting Choate Pond.   As you may know it is historical significance in Medway.  The Thayer family developed that land, built the pond to power the mill across the street (now housing a number of commercial businesses).   Currently owned by the town of Medway, the property has had some structural improvements (mostly in the barn).

In 2010 a committee was formed by the Board of Selectman to consider the future of this property for  the town.  Please come to … (0 comments)

11-11-11. The day that we recognize the heroes that walk among us! - 11/11/11 08:54 AM
There's no one in our country these days that doesn't know a serviceman in service or one who has returned home.  Too many of us know of those who have fallen for our country -  Take a look at Richard Weisser's blog on the subject.  He says it all !
Via Richard Weisser Coweta Fayette Real Estate:
It is fitting that Veteran’s Day falls on a date of such numerical significance this year. After all, there is something very special about the brave men and women that have served our country or are currently on active duty.
Were it not for the past … (1 comments)

Mark Your Calendars - Medway MA - - 11/10/11 09:39 PM
A Special Town Meeting is scheduled for November 14 at 7pm at the High School. If you've been to town meetings years ago, you'll be pleasantly surprised how efficiently the meetings are now run. No longer are you stuck in a meeting that runs until midnight - In fact, one recent meeting finished  in less than 45 min.
Medway has well over 12,000 residents and generally I hear there are 150 people that make these meetings which means that 1% of the population gets to make decisions for the other 99% of residents - Make time to be part of the decision … (2 comments)

The Short Sale Market in MetroWest Massachusetts - 11/07/11 05:33 PM
Ever wonder how many homes in our area are considered “short sales”?  If you are in the market, or are just curious, you may want to take a look at a short sale home.  You may end up finding a beautiful home at a wonderful price!

You may have heard the term “short sale” before  and wondered exactly what it is. A short sale is a sale of a home where the sale price is probably going to be less than what is owed to the bank.  It’s considered “short” because the bank has to agree to accept the … (2 comments)

Old Agents - Never Die - They Just Fade Away! - 11/07/11 10:57 AM
You've heard the title "Old ... Never Die..." before - when Douglas MacArthur uttered those words - of Old Soldiers -  I can't help but think of the phrase when it comes to how realtors leave this field.   You rarely see people just leave - Instead you may hear of a realtor who has struggled long enough and has decided to take on a full time job.  But rather than hang up their license, they tell people that they're "still doing Real Estate".   Or you may hear of a realtor who has moved away to a retirement community - but somehow they're still … (7 comments)

A 203k Loan Diary - Come Walk with Us as We LIVE the process PART 1 - 11/06/11 12:56 PM
If you're a realtor then you're most probably well aware of 203k loan options for buyers who are considering homes that may not be liveable or may need some repairs before someone can move in.  As a realtor you know, onlly certain lenders do 203k loans and that your client will need to bring in contractors (who are certified to work in this environment) to assess the condition of the home and to help quantify exactly what should be done and what it will cost.   You may even know there appear to be two flavors of 203k loans, one for … (1 comments)
