We frequently get asked about family-owned businesses in Door County and if it is possible to live where one works in Door County year-round. I was able to count on my fingers a number of family-owned business in the area without even really trying, from the Johnsons at Al Johnson's Swedish Restaurant, to the Kersebetts and Ecology Sports, to the Daubner family at the Sister Bay Bowl, to dozens of others.
