We are constantly bombarded with news. Cable television, blogs, podcasts, vendor sales calls and the like are constantly at our doorstep giving up "feeds and updates" on the economy and it's rise and demise.
I have three words for your..."Ignore The Noise"! Pretend the recession does not exist for you.
Refuse to participate. Go on a low information diet and focus on what you can do to grow or enhance your sales or your business.

As a sales person do you walk around and say..."we're never gonna make it" or do you refuse to buy into the current state of the economy. Do you tell the  recession that you are not going to participate. I do.

Today I wanted to review what scripts you can use when you are planning to knock on the door of an expired listing. It really is pretty simple stuff. When knocking on the door of an expired listing what you really want to do is to simply keep asking questions. When the prospect answers a question ask them another question.
You need to get into practice. You should find a partner who you can role play the expired listing script before you head out the door and just start practicing on an actual homeowner.

Just Get it Going and The 5 Minute Rule - 09/06/11 07:25 AM
www.CoachMikeMahoney.com: You don't have to get it right, you just have to get it going. This is the is mantra I use whenever I can't seem to get started on a project. I find that this gets me going and then when I want to knock off early I use the 5 minute rule. Please see the video for more information about the 5 minute rule and the "get it going" rule.
