Interest Rates have once again moved down about an eighth of a point over the last week as investors continue to move their investments into government securities due to the turmoil in the middle east, which have caused overall interest rates to move downward slightly,

Two of Rancho Palos Verdes' last remaining oceanfront lots are hitting the auction block on Saturday, March 26 during a bank-ordered auction. Buyers will have the rare opportunity to name their price on two adjoining oceanfront lots located on Marguerite Drive in Rancho Palos Verdes. These prime lots measure 1.9 and 1.6 acres and extend to the water along Crystal Cove Beach. Both lots are contiguous with a total of 267+/- ft. of bluff frontage and 210 ft. of ocean frontage. The bluff rises approximately 200 ft. above the ocean, providing spectacular views.

The last week has been an unbelievably busy week, with my closing on four home purchases for clients , all closing within 7 days of each other. These deals totaled approx. $3.8 million and included:

Marineland of the Pacific, which opened in 1954, for many years provided the primary tourist attraction in Rancho Palos Verdes. The attractions of Marineland included the 320-foot Skytower soaring into the blue ocean-side sky at the park's entrance, the splashy acrobatics of Orky and Corky the killer whales, Bubbles the pilot whale, and snorkeling the curved, faux-rocky recesses of Baja Reef amid rainbows of tropical fish. Marineland was only the second oceanarium in the United States when it opened to the public Aug. 28, 1954.
