Depersonalizing Your Home, Can You Overdue It? - 05/04/11 10:14 PM
I think most will agree that when you list your house for sale, you should depersonalize it, meaning take down personal pictures, etc. The thinking is you want the buyers to focus on your house and its features not your personal life!
I'm not one to make a big deal about taking down personal photos, unless there are an excessive amount of them, it doesn't bother me that much with my listings as long as the home is in show condition. I know some agents are sticklers about this and will make recommend their sellers take down even 1 personal picture.

Rent Late? Best Practices For Landlords And Tenants - 05/03/11 09:03 AM

This is an excellent read that applies to the Michigan rental market also. With so many former home owners now renting and with new investors now becoming landlords this article offers some great tips and advice for both tenants and landlords.
