2009 ACC Tournament Pairings - North Carolina #1 seed - 03/09/09 03:28 PM
The ACC men's tournament kicks off this Thursday with four games, starting at Noon. North Carolina came away with the #1 seed by defeating the Duke Blue Devils for the out right regular season championship.
As each year, this one is sure to have a few surprises and I'm thinking NC State may be the team to make some noise....well, that's what I'm hoping...as long as they don't step on North Carolina's toes.

What a way to start off March Madness...UNC vs. Duke season finale.
On the line is the ACC regular season championship, plus if Duke wins, they could possibly be a No. 1 seed in the NCAA tournament. It seems each year, this game hinges on alot of factors for both teams. Which in turn fuels the rivalry even more. Many across the country tune into this game. It has become a sports phenom.
