After a First Time Buyer recently received their lender's package my phone rang.   They had questions.  How do we build equity when it appears that all we are paying is interest on our mortgage?   As I began explaining the way the banks set up the amortization schedule it occurred to me that many buyers must have these same questions.  Even though they are explained by their mortgage specialist, they might not be clearly understood.
