This morning's Real Estate section headline read, "BUY NEW for a SAFE BET". I thought, really and of course read on. I understand that Nashville Tennessee is no different than any other city. The newspaper has to sell ads and builders are big advertisers. But the readers that live in houses buy those papers and they have to sell what my first Tennessee Realtor called their "pre-loved homes" someday. So here I am making the case for the pre-owned, "pre-loved homes".

Are Some Segments in Franklin Becoming a Seller's Market? Three times in the past 5 days clients called me wanting to see a listing in Franklin TN that they found on a public site. They got excited, I got excited and I looked up the listing to make the appointment and alas, they had the yellow highlight which indicates they're under contract with the noted contingency.
Imagine my disappointment and theirs, thinking they found their house only to see that it is in someone else's grasp.

GM Considers Reopen Spring Hill Manufacturing Plant GM is considering reopening one or two recently idled manufacturing facilities. Since GM's bankruptcy plants have been idled and though the engine section of the Spring Hill plant has work scheduled through 2012 most of the operations and workers have been laid off or transferred. Spring Hill doesn't seem to be overcome by the effects of the recent closing, as homes are still selling. Web Leads Aren't Automatic People can visit your web on their own, they can search for houses, they can even register. But at some point in this process you have to PICK UP THE PHONE AND MAKE A CALL!
