holliston: The Loss of a loved one - 04/21/11 10:21 PM
We have all experienced loss. Many deal with it in different ways in the short term. Everyone grieves differently and people should respect that and learn from it.
This Sunday not only is the celebration of Easter but it also marks the date that 15 years ago when God reached down and saw her tired face and decided to bring her to his garden of heaven. That person was my mother. Florence Pinky Moloney. She was only 54 years old. In her years on this earth she had an everlasting impact on so many that she touched. She chose a career … (0 comments)

holliston: 2011 and the impact of pent up foreclosure market - 04/17/11 06:40 PM
Do you beleive that we will see an increase in Foreclosures? We all know that due to legal loop hole issues that most foreclosures slowed up or got put on hold at the end of 2010. It appears that some of these issues have been dealt with. Fact is that many homeowners are finding themselves four or more months back on their mortgages.
We are still seeing people loose their jobs. Fidelity one of MA largest employers just moved 1000 jobs out of state. Also Genzyme just went through a merger that in the end may have further impact on jobs. … (4 comments)

Consumers should take the time to get educated before starting to look for a new home.
Here are some things they should do.
When trying to find a good mortgage professional they should ask their friends and business contacts for a referral. Another option would be to search linkedin or go on the web. Once they have that they should try to contact the mortgage professional.

holliston: Is your professional providing you the education you deserve - 02/03/10 10:48 AM
I often hear from accountants, financial advisors, and attorneys that clients are not getting the education that they should from their real estate and mortgage professionals. When I ask what is the main reason that they refer me to their clients they all say that you provide the clients with an education about the process and possible pit falls.
I must say that I am surprised to hear that others are not doing the same education. In the end we should all desire clients that end the journey in a home but also are satisfied with the trip that they just took … (0 comments)

holliston: Yes, People can Still Get Mortgages - 12/11/08 07:09 PM
Everyday people come up to me or my wife and say wow, it must be tough for anyone in real estate related industries these days since the banks are not lending money. I was puzzled why this theme seemed to be recurring time and time again
Then I took a few minutes and really started listening and watching the news. I found that often we would see in big letters on the news THE ECONOMY IN CRISIS. Then during many segments of the news we would hear how companies like CITI Corp or the small restaurants in Boston were having difficulty … (3 comments)
