One of the places I consider a Treasure in Tacoma and a benefit of Living in Lakewood as well is that both have Famous Footware locations. Now WHY would that make a town a better place to live? Well if you have to ask you likely don't have 6 people in your family to keep in shoes.
I have 4 kids and 3 of them wear shoes. ( I don't believe in shoes for children who don't walk yet) Keeping the 3 of them and my (1 comments)
If you are living in or near Lakewood WA or considering living there, one of the restaurants you will want to visit is the Old Country Buffet ( or Old country Bee as they call themselves) You need to visit, not for the fine dining, it's not fine dining, but for a nice clean all you can eat restaurant with lots of variety. You will find it located right in Lakewood Town Center.
What I like about it most is that no matter who you (2 comments)
What to buy your wife for your anniversary- Advice from my kids - 09/26/09 01:19 PM
From Anna Matsunaga, Team Momentum, Keller Williams Realty Tacoma www.teammomentumrealestate.com 253-353-2662 My kids are 12 and younger, so you may or may not want to take marriage advice from them, however they have seen alot of families from the inside so....
Anyway this morning as we were making breakfast they started a discussion on what you should not buy for your wife for an anniversary present... .husbands if you have the date coming up, pay attention. ( I was in stitches)
I have always hoped that my clients feel I give really good customer service and that what I do for them is memorable. I work hard to do it and some times I feel I need more money to do it better....I loved this video, reminding me that heart is what is more important here.
Please watch you will love it! Thank you to a fellow blogger for sharing it first!

For one, the suburban home with lots of house and yard to maintain just does not really hardly fit most family's reality. Most families have 2 wage earners. Both often work more than 8 hours a day PLUS a commute. This does not give much time for maintaining a yard and the home. Who wouldn't like to simplify their lives and have more time with their family rather than a date with (4 comments)

My husband and I have been married now for 23 years. (never dreamed we would be getting ready to go to his 25th Highschool reunion with a tiny new baby!) We have been through good and bad times. We have had times where we felt so close and others where we wanted to just kill each other. Mostly I have learned a lot and grown a lot, and frankly have been blessed to have married a really good man. When we got married we (1 comments)
This is the blog I wrote for my application blog for a paid blogger/mom position with Verity Credit union. Please let me know what you think and go to www.veritymom.com to vote. This will be a position that gets lots of media and web presence and I would like to use it to help other moms and families, promote the credit union and also to enhance the image of Realtors in the community. Please read on. Let's face it when you have a family, you always need to pinch pennies, but with recent (5 comments)
How motherhood has changed me... - 09/13/09 11:24 AM
Everyone has events in their lives that change them dramatically. Becoming a parent has to be one of the most dramatic. I am no exception.
Before having children I was focused on my career and I have to say to an unhealthy extent. I also spent a lot of time worrying about trivial things. I had friends but did not appreciate them properly and I did not appreciate my family ( ie my husband nor my parents and siblings) enough either. I took too much for granted. I also took myself for granted in many ways. In short, my (4 comments)
What I'm up to..... - 09/13/09 12:43 AM
Recently I've found lot of people I had not connected with for years and years on line and of course they want to know what I'm up to. Funny part is I am not really sure where to start. My Family I just had a new baby boy, a home birth, 8 weeks ago, I am home schooling my 4th grade daughter, My oldest son just started Middle school at a public Montessori school and my preschool aged daughter often keeps me busier in any given day than the other 3 combined. I love my kids and I am inspired, (2 comments)
Today I had an appointment with a client and through a mix up in communication I went to meet him @ a bookstore coffee shop while he went to his office with both of us wondering where the other one was. ( we got it staightened out later on this evening.) Anyway that meant I was in one of my favorite places ( a bookstore, in this case Barnes and Noble in Lakewood WA)....I some how had left with out the novel I was reading ( The Secret (1 comments)
This is one of my favorites, measurements are approximate. This is healthy and tasty...if you manage your diabetes using protein and "slow" or complex carbs this is for you. If you manage it with a low carb diet, likely too many carbs as beans are high carb. This is likely a great recipe if you have hypoglycemia and for anyone who wants to eat lots of veggies.

I came accross this in my reading. It was shared by Mary Thomas, an awesome Realtor(r) in Rancho Palos Verdes CA. She can be contacted @ 310-946-2205 if you know anyone who has real estate needs in that area. Besides this information I also have learned recently that herbalists have found that the plants that grown naturally near people (a population or an individual ) are almost always the ones that are most needed by that person for healing. ( ie dandilions which cleanse and purify often grow very concentrated (1 comments)
How Much Home Can I Afford. Part 2 of 12 - 09/05/09 08:06 AM
I like this information and it is what I share with potential buyers as well. Figure out what your price range is. ( and be sure you really really can afford it) before you even look at any houses. This applies to everyone even the seasoned investor. I just had a client who has purchased enough houses with me that I've lost count call me ready to look at homes again. I asked him to talk with his lender and get re-pre-approved again. What we found out is that he was going to need alot more reserves if he was going (0 comments)
Children's parties, less is really more..... - 09/04/09 10:29 AM
From - Anna Matsunaga, Team Momentum, Keller Williams Realty- 252 353 2662 www.teammomentumrealestate.com A few weeks back, just before my baby was born I had a party for my girls. The reaction from a couple of the parents ( and one Grandparent who cares for her Granddaughter) was funny. None of them could believe I was having a party when I was due so soon. I did not think anything of it. Then the Grandmother came over to pick up her Granddaughter after the party and I understood better. She told me about parties she had held for the kids and (3 comments)

This is helpful information for any one who is working short sales, I think that ANY one working with any bank needs to heed this advice. We are seeing alot of this accross the board.
