One of the things I love about being a realtor is that almost always doing what is best for my client IS what is best for me.  Working hard to promote my client's listing for instance almost always also gets me more clients for instance.  Negotiating carefully to be sure my client is well cared for in a transaction makes it more likely it goes to closing and I get paid and so on.
 
Once in a while however there are times where the best thing for the client is not the best … (3 comments)

On April 8th I joined thousands of others around the country and went bare foot for the entire day for the One Day With Out Shoes campaign put on my toms shoes.  
I was nervous because I was not too sure what my day would hold or what I would need to do that day.  Not only that I was scheduled to meet a new client, an investor who had no idea I would be showing up to meet her with a baby or sans shoes....

Yesterday I showed a home that was well with in walking distance of my own home and wrote an offer on it.  In doing so and sharing more with the buyer, who had been using my listing finder service on our team website www.teammomentumrealestate.com ,I reaffirmed much of what I like about being in Fern Hill.
 
Our first home was here in Fern Hill and we purchased if with out me being a realtor, in fact with out a realtor. ( and the problems that went along … (0 comments)

A couple weeks ago I was up late working on a listing for a new client when one of those ads that are on the side came up, now normally these ads are just visual "white noise" for me.  I don't even look at them.  However this one caught my eye.  One Day Without Shoes.  I clicked on it.  It was information about TOMS, a shoe company that I had never heard of (shows you how much I've spent at Nordstroms recently!)  They donate a pair of shoes to … (9 comments)
