When REALTORS talk about disclosure and the client’s expectation of privacy, I’m pretty sure these are not the first images that would leap to mind. Yes, this title was a tease and a bit misleading, it really isn’t for adults only ;-D A few weeks ago, one of our local merchants in Dillsboro took responsibility for a Tadpole Sanctuary in a puddle in a parking lot. Adding water so the puddle wouldn’t dry up and with Leslie’s help placed pallets over the puddle to provide additional protection from predators, cars and the sun. Who Do I Report a Bad Realtor to? Isn’t that a scary question? Do you keep tabs on Trulia questions for your area? Each questioner is identified by a zip code and they ask all kinds of real estate connected questions, sales and rental related. Real estate agents have an opportunity to respond to these questions and appear to be the expert and I guess the theory is that it is another form of Google Juice. I’ve answered a few when the topic was interesting and the question was well articulated but, the questioners are rarely from this immediate area…guess … (14 comments)

Usually, as soon as my tire hits a certain kind of road I start my silent grumbling "What WERE they thinking when they built this road?". Of course, it has to be silent because there are clients in the car. No need to frighten them, right? I can wait until we are back on terra firma to ask what their comfort level was for the road less driven! Except for embezzling the trust account, there is nothing worse than an agent ignoring their fiduciary duties to their clients. Can you even imagine them in a Dual Agent role if they haven't grasped the simplest concept of Seller or Buyer Agent?
