An Umbrella policy covers you over and above your Liability limits on your current Home and Auto policies.  Until recently, most companies require that they cover all of your risks before they would issue an Umbrella policy.  That's not so true anymore.  We have companies that will write a "stand - alone" Umbrella policy.

When selling your current home, did you heppen to contact your Insurance Agent to cancel your homeowners insurance?  We agents don't know if you don't tell us, and chances are you are due a refund!

Even if you sold your home a few months ago, there still might be a chance to get the refund.  Simply contact your agent and get them proof of sale, requesting they cancel your policy at that date.
