feng shui master: Feng Shui This | Your Karma-My Karma - 11/11/17 08:50 AM
Karma?
Can it be transferred to another?
Some would say yes, but what about the most important thing we are here to do?...helping each other make the world a better place.
Let's say you buy a house with bad Feng Shui.  You realize the Feng Shui is horrid after a few too many disasters, so you hire a Feng Shui Master.  There are many masters who believe that the "bad karma" that sent you to that house for punishment will be placed upon the Feng Shui Master.
What a load of crap.
In every religion known, good deeds are encouraged.  But, then some Feng Shui Guru comes around … (0 comments)

Have you ever wanted to combine the Chinese art of Feng Shui with your real estate business?Just wish you knew enough about Feng Shui to tackle your own  home?  Now's your chance!
It is my pleasure to announce that I will be teaching Feng Shui Modules 1-4 for the Feng Shui Research Center, November 8-15th in beautiful Knoxville, Tennessee.

For those who want just enough knowledge to understand the subject, I suggest Modules 1-2.  If you want to become a qualified Feng Shui Practitioner, you will need all 4 Modules.
Those who successfully complete Modules 1-4, and pass … (2 comments)

feng shui master: Feng Shui This | Slipping Feet - 04/09/14 01:08 AM
Anyone remember the story of the cobbler whose children went barefoot?  That happens in the world of the Feng Shui Master, too.  Only, we forget to update our yearly energy charts and end up suffering the consequences!
This year I have what is called a "Slipping Feet" combination in  my office area.  That normally doesn't mean I will be stumbling around the office, but I also have a monthly combination in the garage of the same "Slipping Feet" energy.
Double Trouble
And, to make things even more ironic...This Feng Shui Master slipped in the garage on April 1 and broke her … (0 comments)

feng shui master: Feng Shui This | House Cutter Was Cluttering My Brain - 03/07/12 11:22 PM
Recently my mother came to live with us.  This in itself is a life-changing event for anyone.  Our home is very small…big enough for my husband and myself, but strained at the seams when you bring in another person, her dog, and a big pile of their “stuff”.  We gave her the room I had been using as an office, meaning my office had to be moved to the living room.  Sounds simple, doesn’t it?  Well, I actively participate in 3 home businesses and keeping everything organized is vital.  That said, it was an unholy mess around here.  My house, as … (0 comments)

feng shui master: Feng Shui This | Vegetarian Lifestyle - 10/18/10 04:15 AM
In my line of work as a Feng Shui Master I come across many vegetarians.  I do not have anything against anyone who declines meat.  I believe that we each walk our own path.  Whether that path includes consumption of meat is up to the traveler, not to me.   However, I do not believe that people who do not eat meat are somehow more enlightened or even more virtuous than those who do.  My reasons are based on what would happen if everyone reached that magical stage of enlightenment.
There are a few things I need to get clear.  First, I love animals.  Second, I eat … (5 comments)

Feng Shui This - Ethics
First, let me make clear that this post is about an IMAGINARY house.  No homes have been hurt in the building of this story...and no clients past or current have been represented.
What does Feng Shui have to do with ethics?  In my Feng Shui business I come across houses with Feng Shui charts that would send me into a panic if my family had to live there.  It has nothing to do with the size or cost of the home, the unfortunate charts are non-discriminatory.
So lets say there's a house and the Feng Shui chart … (7 comments)

feng shui master: Feng Shui This - Kentucky Cave - 10/25/09 02:59 AM
My lovely daughter did some spelunking yesterday with her college geology class and after she returned home with her stories of "unending pits of death dropping into a black void" I realized I don't ever want to go into a cave.  And, I don't want her in one again, either!  But, alas...children grow up and mom doesn't always get what mom wants.  I know she'll probably be doing lots of things that would make me nervous.  But, it got me thinking about caves...
I've been asked, "Can you Feng Shui a CAVE?"  And the answer is, "YES".
Feng Shui Masters say that the … (4 comments)

Feng Shui This - House For Sale in Lexington KY - Pull up a Chair and Sit a Spell
Here in the south (Yes, if you extend the Mason Dixon line Lexington, KY is most certainly south of it.)  when people welcome a guest they often will say, "Pull up a chair and sit a spell."  In the north they would say something more like, "Have a seat."  Of course, I wouldn't know...not being from that part of the country.  But around here if you visit the neighbors you'll hear that phrase regularly.  If your house is for sale, you'll want … (2 comments)

feng shui master: Feng Shui This - Is Feng Shui Fake? - 10/20/08 02:38 AM
Is Feng Shui Fake?
Do you think Feng Shui is all smoke and mirrors?   Silly Superstition?  Do you think it works only if you "believe in that nonsense"?  Well, you're not alone.  What's interesting though is that one of the top Feng Shui Masters in the world once also had a poor opinion of Feng Shui.  Then he dug a little deeper.  He expected to find it to be nothing more than superstition, instead he found wisdom and truth.
Joseph Yu wasn't always a Feng Shui Master.  His studies at the University of Hong Kong were in math and physics.  Joseph set out to disprove what … (2 comments)

feng shui master: Yin House Feng Shui - 09/02/08 03:20 PM
In China graves are aligned according to feng shui standards.  Why?  It's a form of ancestor worship.  Because many people believe that correct positioning of the grave (especially the headstone) will bring prosperity to the decendants.  The idea is that the bones will release the qi of the ancestor, and that qi will somehow be absorbed by the children. Yin house feng shui is a huge industry in the east.  Feng shui masters are paid thousands to situate graves according to the birth dates of the deceased and the lay of the land.  I learned this technique a few years ago from my feng shui … (0 comments)
