Kingston is one famous little New Hampshire town covering 20.88 square miles.  
Kingston was incorporated in 1694 after King William’s War. Kingston was established as a town in 1694 when it separated from the town of Hampton. It was the fifth town to be established in New Hampshire and originally called King's Town.
 
Kingston’s most  famous citizen is Dr. Josiah Bartlett, delegate to the Continental Congress, signer of the Declaration of Independence, and founder of the New Hampshire Medical Society…made popular by the TV show The West Wing’s fictional President who was said to be a descendant of the real … (6 comments)
