Friday was a pretty emotional day for me.  The guy with the flag and his wife Pamela,who just happens to be a real estate agent in Massachusetts, came to Hampstead New Hampshire to meet me.  If you haven't read my story about when Hate came to Hampstead please take a few moments and read it so that this will make sense to you.
Our meeting was recorded by the Union Leader Newspaper which is the largest newspaper in NH.  They also interviewed me last week about my original Hate post and I posted about that experience on my blog.

Power Of Active Rain- Patriotism Prevails over Protest - 04/22/07 03:45 PM
The Power of the RainLast week I wrote a little post about when hate came to my town. While it wasn't a featured Post...nor widely read by Rainers, it had a life of it's own. 
My little post traveled, far and wide, beyond the borders of Hampstead, New Hampshire.  A college student in Newton, Mass. found it and sent the link home to her mother in Hampstead. A woman in Maine who read it, was really touched by it, felt compelled to let me know how it made her feel. She told me that she passed my words on to others … (44 comments)

Such an ugly word isn't it? 
Maybe I've been sheltered but I've never really felt that word before nor have I used it. HATE is such a strong lonely word...thinking about it makes me incredibly sad.
Today for the first time in my life I "felt" hate.  Hard, Cold, Ugly, Hate and it made me more than sad, it made me mad and it brought me to tears.
My small town buried a war hero today, a fallen child, a human being, who fought and died in Iraq. He was newly married and a real nice guy by all accounts. He gave his … (154 comments)

Please welcome new Active Rain blogger Vickie Wyman. 
Vickie attended a class I taught up in Whitefield NH a few weeks ago. During my presentation I talked about blogging and mentioned Jeff Turners Real Estate shows and how easy they were to use.  Vickie contacted me the other day looking for contact information for Jeff and we started chatting via e-mail. Long story short a new blogger is born...while she hasn't posted a blog yet she has a very nice profile uploaded.

New Hampshire *Updated* Dual Agency Consent Agreement - 04/04/07 08:58 PM
*Updated* Dual Agency Consent Agreement. 
The New Hampshire Association has made some crucial changes to their Dual Agency Consent Agreement  to reflect the required Rule changes that the New Hampshire Real Estate made. 
Rule change go into effect on May, 1 2007. Changes to the consent agreement are linked to a PDF form with changes highlighted courtesy of NHAR. 
Dual Agency Informed Consent Agreement 
Changes Include: 
Addresses of parties and Agency added [per 404.04(k)(3)].
New section 4 listing disclosed dual agent’s duties [per 404.04(k)(4) – excerpted from RSA 331-A:25-d II]
Expiration date of dual agency informed consent agreement added [404.04(k)(6)] and a statement that it shall not … (0 comments)

*Updated* Exclusive Agency and Exclusive Listing Agreement    The New Hampshire Association of REALTORS has updated their Exclusive Agency and Listing Agreement this link brings you to PDF sample form with changes highlighted for easy reading. 
 The important changes are to the Dual Agency section. 
The Disclosed Dual Agency section was removed from cooperation section #3 and given its own section #4.

The New Hampshire Association of REALTORS has updated their Buyer Agency agreement to reflect the recent New Hampshire real estate commission rule changes on Dual Agency. I covered these changes in my blog post Dual Agency Alive and well in NH  if you need an update on the changes.
