New Hampshire Market Trends July 2007 - 07/20/07 01:06 PM
The New Hamphsire Association of REALTORS publishes a market trends report on a regular basis. The association likes to keep it's finger on the pulse of the New Hampshire housing market and keep us agents up to date on what is happening state wide.
This report is very encouraging for all New Hampshire home owners and REALTORS.  Seems as if we're not as bad as the rest of the nation. Or at least pockets of NH is doing better than others. My Southern New Hampshire real estate market has been very slow.  BUT I can report that in the last few weeks … (2 comments)

A Fatal Mistake - 07/20/07 11:09 AM

The mystery of home pricing especially in a Buyer market is never easy to explain nor is making a seller understand the importance of not over pricing in this market.
Incorrect pricing in this New Hampshire real estate market can be a fatal mistake!
Sometimes it’s hard as a Seller to understand how agents come up with the suggested listing prices especially when those prices are lower than the price your neighbor's similar home sold for.

A bird in the hand - 07/13/07 02:51 PM
Is a Bird in the Hand better than Two in the Bush?
The answer is yes!
This is a cautionary tale for all home sellers.  Times have changed, the market is no longer a Sellers market. I know you all know that, have heard it on the news, read the articles in the papers...all the doom and gloom but even so  many sellers are acting as if it is still a sellers market. As if willing it will make it so! So are many real estate agents! I'm all for being optimistic and positive but I'm also realistic.
And REALISTIC is where … (37 comments)

Beware they're Scamming your listings - 07/11/07 05:34 PM

Beware the Scam artist...
One of the agents in my company got this inquiry about one of her listings today.
The age old scam artists are now targeting real estate agents. I think our on-line marketing is reaching a much broader audience than we thought...or wanted.
Poor scam artist Sara Bissett...she just wants the extra money for an airline ticket so she can move in!  Yeah right!!!
I sure hope no overly eager agent falls for this!  I know we all need sales but this is just a BIG SCAM!
Thank you for sharing the e-mail.

It's Offical I'm an ABR and SRES Instructor! - 07/07/07 12:47 PM
As some of you know I've been working my way through the instructor certification process required by REBAC to become an ABR and SRES instructor.
It took a while but I have completed both the required one day course in DC and the two day course in St Louis and the dreaded tests.
Thankfully I passed both tests and now I'm finally "certified"...YIPPEE!
ABR and SRES are both National Association of REALTORS designations.  They are multi-day courses and are offered across the country.
I'm very willing to travel and my rates are great...so keep me in mind if you're looking for … (44 comments)
