hampstead new hampshire: How Humiliating I was stood up...part 2 - 10/10/08 07:28 PM
Funny how things happen. Last week I got an internet lead and immediately recognized the name. I had this customer back in June of 2007 and wrote a post about the experience on my other (inactive) Active Rain blog. I'm thinking that I really shouldn't even bother with her but a part of me wants to help her out. Another part says...fool me once- shame on you- fool me twice- shame on me.
Oh what to do???

hampstead new hampshire: Thinking of moving to Hampstead New Hampshire? - 07/17/08 03:30 PM

Welcome to Hampstead New Hampshire.
I think once you see what we have to offer, you'll fall in love with New Hampshire and Hampstead in particular. I hope that I can help you "see and feel" a little of what I see and feel about Hampstead.
Let me tell you a little about Hampstead but before I begin my tale I must confess I am extremely biased towards Hampstead. I have lived in Hampstead since 1972 and watched as the town has grown from a small village to bustling little community. Yet even with all the conveniences of a much … (7 comments)

The community shines during this time of year and everyone participates and supports some very special town wide events.

Enjoy yummy pancakes, sausages, juice and coffee. Cookie decorating and craft making will also be available. hampstead new hampshire: New Hampshire Fall Foliage - 09/27/07 09:16 PM

New Hampshire has long been known for it's awesome fall colors and trying to gauge just when the right time to go leaf peeping is can be hard.
A few days makes a big difference in the colors you'll see.
I found this cool tool for trying to figure out when the best time will be to enjoy New Hampshire's vibrant fall colors!
Are you a leaf peeper? If so this is an awesome site for mapping out the "At Peak" times.

Jay and I were up in Bretton Woods NH at the Mount Washington Resort this past week.

hampstead new hampshire: Flag Man Found - 04/29/07 11:38 AM
Friday was a pretty emotional day for me.  The guy with the flag and his wife Pamela, who just happens to be a real estate agent in Massachusetts, came to Hampstead New Hampshire to meet me.  If you haven't read my story about when Hate came to Hampstead please take a few moments and read it so that this will make sense to you.
Our meeting was recorded by the Union Leader Newspaper which is the largest newspaper in NH.  They also interviewed me last week about my original Hate post and I posted about that experience on my blog.
Over this … (36 comments)

hampstead new hampshire: Power Of Active Rain- Patriotism Prevails over Protest - 04/22/07 03:45 PM
The Power of the RainLast week I wrote a little post about when hate came to my town. While it wasn't a featured Post...nor widely read by Rainers, it had a life of it's own.
My little post traveled, far and wide, beyond the borders of Hampstead, New Hampshire.  A college student in Newton, Mass. found it and sent the link home to her mother in Hampstead. A woman in Maine who read it, was really touched by it, felt compelled to let me know how it made her feel. She told me that she passed my words on to others … (44 comments)
