new hampshire real estate training: Recharging my Batteries! - 08/07/07 09:32 PM
We've been on vacation for the last two weeks.
When I say vacation please understand that during that time we both worked every day albeit from a distance.
I negotiated a contract, searched for homes, gave listing updates,e-mailed my e-leads, picked up 6 new e-leads, set up showing appointments... all while being hundreds of miles from my home and office.
Thank god for E-fax, WiFi, lap tops and small printers!
While I limited my blogging time severely I did pop in and check Active Rain every-once in awhile.
It was good to get away but even while away I never really got away from real estate.  … (45 comments)

new hampshire real estate training: It's Offical I'm an ABR and SRES Instructor! - 07/07/07 12:47 PM
As some of you know I've been working my way through the instructor certification process required by REBAC to become an ABR and SRES instructor.
It took a while but I have completed both the required one day course in DC and the two day course in St Louis and the dreaded tests.
Thankfully I passed both tests and now I'm finally "certified"...YIPPEE!
ABR and SRES are both National Association of REALTORS designations.  They are multi-day courses and are offered across the country.
I'm very willing to travel and my rates are great...so keep me in mind if you're looking for … (44 comments)

new hampshire real estate training: I Don't Trust You. - 06/26/07 06:37 PM
"No offense but I don't trust ANY real estate people." The words cut through me like a knife. I felt bad not so much for myself, although it really stunk hearing those words, but for the woman that said them.
I'm involved in the 3rd offer that these people have made. I was not involved in the previous offers on the other two properties.
These people were an "up" call I got during my floor time shift two weeks ago.
I met them, did the appropriate agency disclosures, tried to get them to consider buyer representation and then showed them a few … (33 comments)

new hampshire real estate training: Active Rain-NAR and Stagers...How cool. - 06/18/07 07:08 PM
I thought this was so cool, I'm not sure if anyone posted about it but if they did I missed it.
I am a regular visitor to the NAR's website REALTOR.org . I like it because I usually can find lots of good information there and it's all free for me to use. Plus I really like to get as much bang as I can out of my dues dollars.
Today while surfing the site I was checking out seller tips and Home staging. I think in this market staging is becoming all the more important and I wanted to see … (23 comments)

new hampshire real estate training: So you think you're alone now... - 06/13/07 05:35 PM
Sometimes I hear stories that just leave me wondering.
A listing agent met a Co-broker and her clients at her listing to do a showing.  During the showing it was readily apparent that the home did not meet the buyers needs.
While standing in the kitchen talking about the home the listing agent mentioned another listing that she had just listed. One that she thought would better suit the buyers. The home was in excellent condition was priced competitively and had everything the buyers seemed to be looking for. She suggested that they go take a look at it as it was easy … (118 comments)

new hampshire real estate training: Active Rainers You ROCK!! - 03/09/07 09:04 PM
I'm so excited!!!! Thank you all for your well wishes! I received phone calls and e-mails from so many Active Rainier's all wishing me well on my first class being held at my new real estate training center.
My class went exceptionally well! I had a terrific turn out and all my comment sheets were excellent!
It was exciting and nerve wracking at the same time. The class I taught was a new class...one I had developed and got approved for continuing education but I had not taught it before...So this was an unveiling of a new class and a new … (13 comments)

new hampshire real estate training: New Hampshire Training Center...I'm excited - 03/02/07 08:22 PM
A little dream a little reality Who says dream can't come true?  As some of you know I am a real estate agent who does a lot of training. I write most of my own courses and create my own power point presentations. I've been training for many years and in my former real estate office I was the training director in charge of it all. During the past 4 years I've been hired by many individual offices, boards and associations to conduct workshops and seminars.  While I'm pretty busy writing and updating courses, I've also been renting space at my local … (51 comments)
