Houlton Maine is the county seat for Aroostook.
Called the "Shiretown" of the sixteen's largest from back in the days of English rule.
Labeled the "Crown of Maine" and bordering the Quebec, New Brunswick Canadian provinces.
The distance north insulates us from the high crime, expensive living... the down side of city urban living. Up here in Houlton Maine, Aroostook County. life is easier. You don't need as much money to keep the wolf from your door. To keep your head above water, in paying your monthly bills.
