Not everyone buys property costing six, seven and more digits. Not every one plans to move to Maine. At least not right a way. Maybe down the road that will happen. It is piece of mind knowing you have a place to head if all heck breaks loose in a city where you carry a charged taser, keep your guard up 24/7 and maybe don't feel all that safe.
