Business is good for Stonyfield Farm in Londonderry, NH.  THey just seem to keep growing.
Following taken from  Reed ACP Construction Data website:
A 31,800-square-foot plant office building is under construction in Londonderry, N.H., for Stonyfield Farm, with North Branch Construction, Inc., of Henniker, N.H., as construction manager. The new two-story building will be constructed with a structural steel frame and metal siding and be built for sustainability, with such "green" features as a vegetated roof, sunshades and solar panels. Massive Pumpkins - 10/05/07 08:14 PM
This is my second Pumpkin post - the first contained no pictures.  Here you go - more on the record with pictures.....  Man thats gonna make a lot of pie!
In 1984 sixteen pumpkin growers from Massachusetts and Connecticut entered their pumpkins in the first Topsfield Fair Giant Pumpkin Contest. The winning pumpkin weighed in at 433 pounds. In 2006 there were over ninety entries from all over New England. The winner, grown by Ron Wallace of Rhode Island weighed in at 1,347.5 pounds.
That was 2006.

Massive Record Beating Pumpkin grown in Litchfield NH - 10/03/07 08:24 PM
Guinness Book of World Records 2006 largest pumpkin 1,502 lbs.
Topsfield Fair - TOpsfield, MA 2007 - Bill Rodonois of Litchfield, N.H. His pumpkin weighed in at 1,566 lbs.  You would think that would be a good enough mark to take home the record.
Unfortunately a fellow from Scituate RI came in with a 1689 lb entry.  Congratulations to Joe Jutras for growing this monster.  Next year Bill.  Next year.

The Market Absorption Rate is a theory that helps to illustrate where the market is - are we in a buyers, or sellers market?
As of today Oct 2, there are 61 Residential Homes for sale in Litchfield, NH.
For the month of September 5 Residential Homes sold.
So, taking the 1 month of sales for September, and dividing it into the total inventory of 61 we get 12.2.

 NEW YORK (CNN) - Two men have been accused of stealing money from the personal bank account of New York Mayor Michael Bloomberg, the Manhattan District Attorney's office announced Tuesday.
Charles Nelson, 31, was charged with grand larceny and identity theft after stealing $10,000 from the billionaire in an online transaction on May 11, the district attorney's office said in a news release. The defendant allegedly transferred the money into an e-trade account and then withdrew it using a debit card.

The Musquash Conservation Area has the answer.
The term Musquash comes from the Algonquin word for muskrat. So you work in Boston and you are wondering how anyone would reliably get from Londonderry NH to the big city.
First, you could simply hop in your car and get on I93 at either exit 4 or 5 and head south.
56 minutes and 44 miles later (give or take) and you're there.
Of course, if you prefer to mkae more of your commute, maybe working or reading instead of focusing on driving and listening to a CD or the radio you could take a Concord Coach from just off Exit 4 in Londonderry.

If you don't know it is there you will drive right by it.  Londonderry Raceway is located in Southern New Hampshire. Londonderry Raceway is the only quarter-mile high- banked paved oval in the east that is 100% dedicated to miniature motorsports. In addition to a schedule of regular competitions they also offer anyone the opportunity to push the limits like Jeff Gordon or Dale Earnhardt JR...............  OK so they arent really reaching 180mph but you get the drift.
