Kindness in The Form of Breakfast - 07/30/11 02:37 AM
It is so nice to be appreciated for all the driving and showing of properties that I have been doing lately. The buyers that I am spending lots of time with realize what it means to pick out properties, call for availability, set the showings, try to figure out the showing time frame and make a showing book for the buyers for their notes. Then of course spending hours showing the properties.  It is fun to give each house a funny name so we can remember which one was which. What I love about the Internet is the buyers can pick out the … (14 comments)

Pulling both huge doggie beds to different parts of the house. If ever I am missing something, like shoes, magazine eye glasses and the like I just go to the back … (9 comments)

Sellers Can Also Advertise - 07/20/11 02:11 AM
Sellers Can Also Advertise A ‘For Sale’ sign alone does not guarantee the sale of your real estate property. During good times and bad, you cannot expect to sell property just by putting up a yard sign. A travelling salesman carries his goods from door to door, yet it is not too likely that you’ll travel around with your piece of real estate! The only way you are going to sell it is by letting as many people as possible know that you have a property for sale through advertising. It is important to advertise, but what is more important is … (5 comments)

Attracting The Best Tenants - 07/20/11 01:34 AM
Attracting The Best Tenants There is both a skill and an art in attracting the best tenants. You’ll want your new tenants to feel welcome and comfortable while
at the same time they need to understand that the rules are meant to be followed. The best tenants will appreciate these rules and follow them while remaining friendly and cordial towards you. It's really all in the attitude. You probably have some relationships with others where there is a sort of ethics presence that needs to be maintained while at the same time not appearing stand-offish. This is the same situation. There … (5 comments)

The Difference Between A 2nd Mortgage and Refinancing - 07/20/11 01:17 AM
The Difference Between A Second Mortgage And Refinancing When it comes to credit and loans, there are so many terms and such a wide variety of options that might leave you dazed and confused. You may ask what the difference is between a second mortgage and refinancing in on an existing mortgage. With a second mortgage, you will have to make two separate mortgage payments every month. With a re-financed mortgage, you … (2 comments)

How Many Passwords and User Names Do We Need? - 07/16/11 09:21 PM
It started out simply a few years ago with just a 6 letter user name and about same for my password.I could always remember them with no problem. Now each time a new program comes around or signing in to the Internet they are asking for 6 letters, one needs to be capitalized and don’t forget to add a number. Or better yet a symbol with upper and lower case. If want real security make the passwords long and totally confusing. And with that having to be created remembering these letters and numbers in sequence along with the symbols is starting to … (13 comments)

Why I Love The Rain - 07/15/11 06:56 PM
                APRIL SHOWERS
When April skies begin to frown,
And the cold rain comes pelting down,
We must not grumble nor complain
Nor idly say, we hate the rain.

God sends the rain; the dust-y ground
It softens in the fields around;
The moisture every plant receives,
And springs afresh in flowers and leaves.

Should God forbid the showers to fall,
Nor send us any rain at all,
The ground would all grow hard and dry,
And every living plant would die

All things would starve and perish then-
No food for birds, … (1 comments)

Men VS. Women - 07/15/11 04:42 PM
Women have out shopped the men in 2010 for houses.  This really should be no surprise since we out shop them on a daily basis for almost everything.Women made up 20% of all home buyers and the men only made it by 12%According to the report women want a sense of belonging with a home of their own. Some of the main reasons is relocating and a larger space for family.Women are now expecting to have gourmet kitchens, yards with no maintenance and special security features. Women don’t want to have to do fix-up so to find a home that in good … (0 comments)

Meat Glue...What Is It? - 07/11/11 02:44 AM
Have you ever heard of meat glue?? Neither had I until I saw this YouTube video. After seeing this video about meat glue you may want to be a vegetarian. Some meat plants are gluing pieces of scrap meat together and calling them roast, steaks, chicken and fish. What the labels on the packaging are telling you may not be what is in the package. The glue looks toxic and totally unacceptable in my opinion.Take a look for yourself...Meat glue
