Sensible lending

Well we have all been reading all the doom and gloom reports on the real estate market over the last months. The media loves nothing more than to create a frenzy where none exists. While it is true in some of the larger markets where real estate values spiraled out of control there have been some much needed adjustments, Tennessee has seen steady and reliable growth. The sub-prime lenders who were making loans based on questionable credit worthiness suffered the consequences of that short sighted business philosophy. Wells Fargo has responded by adjusting their lending criteria to meet the needs of the sub-prime customer while requiring that the loan "make sense". This ensures that we will be able to continue to meet the needs of the home buying public while remaining competitive in the marketplace.
