Thousands of struggling Washington homeowners have attempted to get a loan modification only to wait weeks or even months to get their case reviewed, often getting no response at all or a runaround.
Recently, the Obama administration has began leaning on mortgage servicers collecting and processing mortgage payments to step up modifications.  According to a recent report from the Treasury Department, there is wide variations in how quickly mortgage companies are actually helping distressed homeowners avoid foreclosures.

Thousands of homeowners in Washington are now exploring all of the options available to them in order to save their homes from foreclosure or from going "underwater."  With rising interest rates and plummeting housing prices, refinancing is no longer a valuable option, and coincidentaly loan modification has become the last chance for most borrowers to save their house and assure an affordable mortgage.

Washington homeowners facing hardships such as divorce, medical bills, or unemployment, as well as those placed in "toxic" mortgage loans are now unable to afford their monthly mortgage payments. In order to avoid foreclosure and save their home, these borrowers must do something immediately!  With a loan modification, homeowners are able to obtain an affordable monthly payment, allowing them to stay in their home.
