copper mountain: Are you old enough to be "Over the Hill"? - 12/28/07 12:21 AM
Is 45 Over the Hill?  That is how old you need to be to join the Over the Hill Gang at Copper Mountain.  If your spouse is younger, that is ok as they can still join too.  Only one person in the couple has to meet the age requirements.
The Over the … (17 comments)

copper mountain: Testing the snow in Colorado, close up and personally! - 10/27/07 06:15 PM
Summit County has two ski resorts open so far this year.  Actually, we only have one as Loveland is not in Summit County, but in Clear Creek County.  However, it is just on the other side of the tunnel and sometimes we claim it as our own.  On Thursday I skied … (24 comments)

copper mountain: Copper Mountain's Center Village. Ski season starts Nov 2nd. - 10/07/07 10:54 PM
The Center Village at Copper Mountain is the newest base area closest to the American Flyer and the American Eagle lifts.  The majority of the Village was built in 1999 and 2000, with Passage Point built a little later, in 2001. It is a part of what was heralded as the "rennaisance" … (33 comments)

copper mountain: Vote for your favorite Summit County ski area - 09/24/07 11:17 PM
For the last few weeks I have had a survey running on my Summit County real estate blog, asking people which is their favorite Summit County Ski Resort.  Copper Mountain took the lead early on (I only voted once!) and is now way ahead of all the other resorts.
Today my SKI … (31 comments)

copper mountain: Summit County ski resorts are now wind powered. - 08/11/07 09:01 PM

The ski areas are working very hard to make sure that everyone knows that they are now using clean, natural resources as a source of electricity. Do you have any idea what it means for them to be wind powered?   At first I visualized many big wind turbines sitting on top of the ski mountains.  We … (24 comments)

copper mountain: Copper Mountain, Breckenridge or Keystone; where is the best place to buy a condo? - 08/07/07 11:33 PM

Have you ever asked one of your clients if they have thought about buying a second home?  Not just a rental property, but a vacation home at the beach or mountains.  If your clients are baby boomers and they live in a nice house, chances are they already have a second home or they … (10 comments)

copper mountain: Tips to make a vacation home pay for itself. - 04/19/07 11:36 PM
I own a condo at Copper Mountain, Colorado.  It is just a little one bedroom condo and I try to rent the heck out of it.  It is about 8 miles from my primary home, so I don't use it myself.  I have four major ski areas within 20 minutes of … (3 comments)
