As I look across the street these trees struck me as being out of order...not the normal before and after shot. Nature has it's own way of changing the order of things it doesn't always conform to what we expect. My Real estate office is on the Kancamagus Scenic highway, and so are some of my fury and feathered friends, come to see the foliage and you may get more than you bargained for.
A little patriotic foliage, with the soon to be white ski slopes peaking out in the background.
The interesting part came upon further examination. You see there are several rocks embedded in the root, they have a strange hold on bolling ball size boulders. This tree didn't give in to the river easily, it fought to stay on the ground it called home. Now all that is left is the root carcass dried, bleached, and (16 comments)

For the second day in a row I hit the links and hit the pond after I was done. In 90 Degree weather...you need a cool down plan. I promise no pictures of me in swimming trunks. But my son will add some action shots to the post. We have been working on a one acre water hazard in our yard...it is being put to use this week.
2nd annual Community Pride Day Set for May 20th, 2010 The Lincoln-Woodstock Chamber of Commerce announces that the 2nd Annual Lincoln-Woodstock Community Pride Day is set for Thursday May 20th. This day of community clean-up and betterment projects are supported by the Towns of Lincoln and Woodstock, Chamber Members, Lincoln Woodstock Public Schools, local residents and other community organizations. The day starts with a unique Chamber “Business Before Hours” breakfast at Elvio’s in Lincoln from 9 to 10 am for any volunteers.
