Living in the White mountains of New Hampshire…what is my favorite season? WINTER…is Great for skiing, Spring…is a time of renewal, Summer …brings on the long days of fun, BUT!! – FALL is the prettiest time of the year to hike – the air is cool and the mountains are colorful.

Resorts: Village of Loon, Clearbrook & Coolidge Falls.
While these three location vary in price and size considerably they have one thing in common…they share a recreation center. The amenities are available on a private club basis and that may seem odd if you were to assume this is a condominium project. In fact all three of these subdivisions were sold as a PUD (planned unit development…I’ve also seen Urban used in place of unit). The sun has begun to set a bit earlier and it tends to go from color to dark rather quickly. If you are not paying attention to the night sky's you just might miss the best sunsets as it goes down over the Pemigewasset river.
From my back yard over looking the pond and just a glimpse of the Pemi river...I love this view.
My Man made pond and river frontage on the Pemigewasset frames the August Sunsets so well...I hope you enjoy my view.

Can we all agree that the trash-men are not hired for their personal appearances...they have to be physically fit and can "pick things up and put them down" to quote a national gym chain. My trash man needs a shave.
Wednesday may be trash pick up day where you live...our services are on any day your teenager leaves a bag of trash out over night. Some my think this level of service is to be applauded...in reality it requires excessive additional clean-up.
We have some funny looking landscapers...who also could use a shave.

Pending Home Sales Hit 2 Year High: Contracts to purchase previously owned U.S. homes matched a two-year high in May, fueling optimism the housing market is poised for a recovery.
The National Association of Realtors said on Wednesday its Pending Home Sales Index, based on contracts signed last month, rose 5.9 percent to 101.1. The index level matched the two-year high reached in March, while the gain was the largest since October 2011.

A duck in the shallow lily pads...waits for an easy meal...it's too hot to work hard.
watching the clouds overhead...while it's still daylight at 8 pm...feels like summer time.
Followed by a 9 pm sunset...in the white mountains of New Hampshire...Summer in New England

As we all grew into adulthood and got our first “place”, there were several ubiquitous things that appeared in our décor. One item was a bookshelf made of wood planks supported by cinderblocks, and the other was a plant; the larger the better to fill in the empty spaces.
Fast forward to your life now. Your décor is probably a bit more sophisticated, but are there any plants in it? I’m not referring to the pathetic philodendron plant you have stashed in the corner.
