Shimmering lights, a flash of bright, and amazing shapes. Alien Invasion? No, but sculptures have invaded Oakton Community College, Des Plaines Campus. A new exhibit has arrived, aptly named "Sculpture Invasion 2010." The pieces of this exhibit were selected from the Chicago Sculpture International, a group which encourages exchanges and sharing of sculpture. Approximately 40 pieces are on display on the north side of the campus, at the Oakton Sculpture Park. This display joins the permanent collection already found on the campus.
