Glenview's Wagner Farm is holding a Cheesemaking 101 Class on Saturday, May 5 from 9am to noon. Everyone over 18 is welcome to join the cooking class and make a farmers cheese of their very own to take home and enjoy. There will also be tips and recipes for making other cheeses. This state-of-the-art system can predict when conditions are right for lightning strikes, even before lightning actually hits. Earlier warnings mean there's more time for park patrons to seek shelter from deadly lightning.The system activates horns and strobe lights when it detects high levels of electrical activity in the area.
