We are looking at homes sold data to determine what is happening with the Real Estate Market in Dover, NH. 2008 experienced some drastic changes as we headed into the "Great Recession". Home sales dropped off of 2007's high of 397 homes sold to just 292 in 2008 with the average length of time homes were on the market climbing three weeks. We are looking at homes sold data for the last four years verses the last twelve monhts to date (9-15-2010) to determine the state of the market in Dover. There were 438 homes sold in 2006 with average days on market of 84 indicating a pretty hot market. 2007 saw a 12% decrease in homes sold to 386 and average days went up to 102.
