Over the last four years, we have had roughly 220-230 homes and condos for sale at any given time. We currently have 139 homes and condos available and sales are quite brisk. Homes Sold Ten homes sold this week and there are 55 "active with contract" which means the sellers have accepted an offer and are still showing the property until all the contingencies of the contract are fulfilled. Once that happens the listing moves into "pending" status.

The Affordability Index Don't kick yourself in 2014 for not buying in 2013. There is no doubt mortgage rates are at the lowest levels in decades which puts buyer's purchase power at it's peak. As mortgage rates go up, purchase power goes down. The Affordablity Index is lower today than it was two weeks ago.
