You may remember at closing that I promised to follow up with you at the beginning of the year because this exemption can save you a small fortune if you file for it (it's only for your primary residence and will renew every year..no need re-apply as long as the home remains your primary residence.)

Wishing you a Happy & Prosperous New Year, and to assist you in reaching new heights I have a few suggestions below that may help you on your path.
Less than 20% actually set goals, only 4% actually WRITE them down, and not too surprisingly only 1% actually achieve their goals....it's not hard to identify who actually accomplish what they envision.
If you haven't made a vision board for 2011 & the next 5 years I'd encourage you to do so and shed the limiting beliefs that will keep you from making your dreams a reality.

A few years back there was a couple attempting to sell their home "For Sale By Owner" - they just didn't know the #'s exactly (although they were relatively close compared to most FSBO's) or have the time/energy/resources/experience to market the home property. They tried for about 8 months & I'd call or drop by to give them something regarding the home-selling process every few week. I have people ask me this all the time - so here's a very straightforward explanation of the basic components & definition of a short sale and circumstances that qualify for a short sale.
Whatever you do.....you DO NOT HAVE TO LIQUIDATE YOUR 401K - the banks are NOT ALLOWED to come after your retirement funds!!
