The Georgia Senate passed a version of H.B. 261 allowing Georgia home buyers to receive a tax credit of up to $3,600 (or 1.2 percent of the purchase price, whichever is less). The credit would not exceed $1,200 per year and any unused portion can be carried forward for two years. Georgia residents who buy a home would get a three-year tax credit. So there are a number of people in the Metro Atlanta area that are confused as to what a short-sale is and how it works, both as a buyer & a seller. No neighborhood is immune to these. On the East Atlanta/Kirkwood border on Memorial Drive just off the Maynard Terrace exit of I-20 East, Ann's Snack bar has been serving up monster burgers the last three decades. If you're serious about burgers, you have to have the Ghetto burger, with more than a pound of beef covered in onion, bacon, chili and cheese. There's no way you can finish this meal in one sitting and not keal over.
