A few days ago, I read an article. Wells Fargo now offering FHA Home Loans with a credit score of just 500!!!!
WOW! This caught my eye. Yes, in this economy we have all suffered. With that being said, alot of our credit has suffered as well. Nothing to be ashamed or embarrassed about, it is reality.

Down Payment: For a credit score of 580-599, 5% is needed, and for … (3 comments)

I am LION, hear me ROAAAAAAAR! Surviving MY Serengeti in Md&Pa - 02/22/11 09:54 AM
After reading the first two chapters of Stefan Swanepoel's new book Surviving your Serengeti: 7 Skills to Master Business and Life, I took the quiz; and was given the title of "King of the Jungle" LION...
Beyond my career, after reading my assessment, and the description of the lion, fits me in everyday life as well. The lion is an "all or nothing" kinda cat, and if I don't meet my goal, I go hungry. Which in this market, it is easy to go hungry if you do not give it all you got!
I chart my course before navigating through … (2 comments)

Does Your Title Company Provide Enhanced Title Policy, Why do you need it? - 02/15/11 04:27 PM
Why on earth would I need enhanced title policy? Isn't the title insurance going to cover all my needs if any arise? NO!
Today, more than ever we need to protect ourselves on any potential clouds on our titles more than ever. With all of the foreclosures in our market, lenders struggle to process the paperwork through the change of hands as best as they can. This is a daunting task, and as a result, there is a growing number of clouded titles resulting from documentation areas.
A recent Bloomberg article highlightd the problem. "Defective documentation has created millions of blighted … (3 comments)

Every resale in 6months has been REO or HUD! Autumn Run, Harford County, Md. - 02/12/11 01:26 PM
What makes you want to buy in a community that is still under construction? Buyer incentives from the lender? The fresh paint, and the shiny new appliances? What would sway you from buying the new construction being built in the community, rather than the cheaper resale????
Recently, I decided to take a look at the sales in the community which I have felt for years was nothing more than an overpriced money pit. Autumn Run, located in Abingdon, Harford County, Maryland, is a townhome community. They have been building this community for a few years now, and have been offering sales … (1 comments)

This Town's Budget Sure Got Them in a Pickle - 02/01/11 07:38 PM
As taxpayers, we all moan and groan of the amount of taxes we have to pay to our local city, county, or township. Personally, it drives me crazy my property taxes here in Chester County, Pa. are upwards of $9000 a year. What we can we do? My grandmother always used to say, "All I HAVE to do is live, die, and pay taxes." So, I suppose she is right.
For our dollars we shell out for taxes, we do expect certain things in return. One thing we do come to expect around here, is a big portion of the budget … (0 comments)

It may be hard to believe, but Spring is right around the corner. Yes, we can lose sight of this in the midst of countless snow and ice storms, among shovels, and salt. Though this is the case these short Winter days, we need to look at the glass half full.
Soon, the days will draw longer, the temperatures will rise, and the daffodils will be blooming. When the grass turns green, the flowers are popping up, and the fresh smell of spring is in the air, is the best time to get your home on the market! We all get … (0 comments)
