Current analysis of the Denver Luxury Home Market - 07/24/10 11:41 PM
Current analysis of the luxury home market in Denver, Colorado it is fragmented to say the least. One of my biggest focuses lately has been expired listings in the Denver metro area. The market has started to shift to a neutral market on the whole it favors neighter buyers or sellers. However certain areas and market segements are unique. To search the Denver luxury home market. Working my expired listing market is not price constricted it is geographically targeted. I'm going by this house in a great Denver luxury home neighborhood. This home is designed to be a scrape. The unique challenges I face in developing a brand - What are yours? - 07/19/10 07:59 PM
As I jump into the role of becoming a traditional real estate agent the challenges seem overwhelming some days. The latest struggle I'm having is branding myself. Now I have some unique skills that I bring to the table, I also have some genuine market segments that I want to go after. I believe the days of the generalist are over and one must have a speciality. When I read some articles about branding and real estate I see a lot of talk about what are you about and what are you like as a person. I don't see (6 comments)
The challenge of branding yourself as a new or newer agent - 07/16/10 04:00 PM
I like to think that I know a little bit about branding and image. I graduated with a marketing degree from Missouri State University. I was involved in several high tech and telecommunication startups in the 90's where no brand previously existed. I have had more challenges with branding myself in real estate then any other profession. Before my current real estate career I was a professional poker player. I left that industry a few years ago when the real estate crisis hit. As the Chinese say crisis means danger and opportunity. Here is a picture of me dressed two days (2 comments)
What do you mean my home is off the market in Denver, CO - 07/06/10 02:55 AM
I have been working expired listings in the Denver, Colorado market. Most real estate agents just rely on there Sphere of Influence (SOI) or as we used to say at MCI Friends and Family. That is low hanging fruit. I'm a professional salesperson, marketer, and businessperson, and my feeling is if you can't market to more than those people then you will likely have a short career. I actually go up and knock on the expired listing in the metro denver area if you are afraid to talk to strangers then how are you going to negotiate a contract effectively? As (4 comments)
