HEMET MARKET ANALYSIS - EXPIRED LISTINGS - DECEMBER 2006 by John Occhi, Hemet CA REALTORReal Estate, Hemet CA In an earlier blog article I looked at the Expired listings throughout the year 2006, but I never finished December, since I wrote the last article on the subject on December 31st - and believe it or not, but in the last day of the year 7 more properties expired. Before we get too deep into the Expired listings and what they mean to the market, let's take a look back at the blog I wrote last month, comparing 2005 and 2006. Here is a

average: Figures Don't Lie...Liars Figure - 01/01/07 09:07 PM
Figures Don't Lie...Liars Figureby John Occhi, Hemet REALTOR I have been working with the information that I have downloaded from the Hemet MLS, sponsored by the Hemet-San Jacinto Board of Realtors. The data has represented all of the residential properties listed and sold in each of the 3 Hemet zip codes - 92453, 92544 & 92545. The first few articles I wrote seemed to be a little off to me, so I have tweaked the data so that the numbers were more realistic to my thinking. After all, if I tell you we had 50 expired listings last month, what does that mean to you without having a place

average: Snapshot of a West Hemet Neighborhood - 12/26/06 04:09 AM
I recently did extensive research on a particular neighborhood. I'm sure the local residents have a name for their corner of Hemet, but I am sorry to report I do not know it. It is a unique area, surrounded on two sides by senior mobile home communities - ‘Panorama Village' to the east (east of Lyon) and 7 Hills to the south (south of Stetson). The north is separated from adjoining lands by railroad tracks. The community runs west to Kirby, although some could argue that it actually extends all the way to Sanderson. However, the homes on the west of Kirby
