In my recent post on this series, San Jacinto Market Analysis - SOLD 5/20/09 - 6/20/09 I shared insight to the overall San Jacinto real estate market by providing a brief synopsis of current market conditions by analyzing all of the 136 residential real estate homes that closed escrow between May 20th and June 20th, 2009.  In this segment, I will look closely at San Jacinto homes for sale that sold to owner occupied buyers with a minimal down payment using the government sponsored VA loan program.

interest rate: Hemet Market Snapshot: June 1st through September 21st - 2007 Compared to 2008 - 09/21/08 06:38 PM
I was very disturbed when I red an article earlier this month that my local market had dropped in value by a full 9% in just one month.Hello, I live here and work this market full time - every day and yes, I have seen a drop month after month - it has never been 9% in a single month, despite what the local newspaper, "The Press Enterprise" reporter Leslie Berkman reported on August 30th, 2008.Now, I agree with most of what the article reports - but come on, lets be responsible and not add fuel to the fire.  I agree … (3 comments)

I am wondering what the opinion of the mortgage community is on the topic of interest rates.  As for me, I think they will drop based on what has happened this week.
