Utilities for Basking Ridge, NJ

May I suggest that no later than two days before closing (even longer if you can), that you make arrangements to have the utilities transferred to your name for commencement after the closing.  It is easier to have them provide seamless service, rather than disconnect and connect again. 

 One note:  certain parts of Basking Ridge get both gas and electric from PSE&G, while others have it split out into two companies.  Also, there is competition among utilities, so you should not feel limited by the list below.  I encourage you to explore what other options are available before settling in.  This list is provided as a courtesy but may not be all-inclusive.  You should also get estimates first on trash services as they vary.
