Ever Had a Seller Disappear?? - 10/31/11 03:22 PM
I have two different listings expiring tomorrow. I have had NO response to emails, phone messages and snail mail in the last few months. The big question, What if I had an offer ready to present? That's a position I would never want to be in.
This afternoon I will be picking up signs and lockboxes. The homes are vacant. I have NO interest in renewing at this point.  We always have disapearring buyers so we are use to that. Being that its Halloween, What is your spookiest story with disappearing sellers?

Nana's Irish Pub-- Newport Oregon - 10/25/11 05:27 PM
This last week I wandered an hour north of my yard to Nana's Irish Pub in Newport Oregon. I have been there a few times before. This time I rented a condo across the street from them. I have always wanted to stay in the Nye Beach area of Newport.

Local Ocean Seafoods -- Newport Oregon! - 10/18/11 06:10 PM
On Sunday we where treated to lunch there by my sister who is a Doctor in Seattle. She had been here before and thought I needed to check it out. Always interesting when an out of town find a treasure in your yard that you didn't know existed.

I got something -- you don't got - 10/17/11 10:19 PM
I got a flu shot. So did others in my family and soon all of them. Oregon has already had its first hospital case of flu. Usually they don't expect it til closer to January in this area. Seeing as we have clients coughing and snotting in our offices and cars, we don't have a chance. Hurry and get your shot before they only have RUMP flu shots left!

200,000 Here I come! - 10/13/11 07:35 PM
Last year near the end or maybe the beginning of this year I was reflecting on the positives of 2010. Along with sales up and getting "Realtor® of the year" I hit the 100,000 mark here at Active Rain. I remember back when I got 10,000 points I thought it was really something.
As I hit 200,000 points, it really isn't the points that matter. Its the knowlege and new friends I have met here! The positive for today is that my6 boss got 2011 Realtor® of the year!

Whats the word on printable coupons?? - 10/11/11 12:14 PM
Whats the word on printable coupons? I just looked at a couple of sites for them, I have more questions than answers. They want your email address, does this produce more spam and unwanted emails?
When you figure the cost of printer ink and paper,when is a coupon not even worth printing? I'm sure 10 cents off does pencil out. If you know any of these answers, I'm all ears. What has been your experience?

If someone stayed home --- I wouldn't have to - 10/11/11 10:28 AM
Yep I have a cold or whatever bug is going around. I will miss our sales meeting this morning, ( we only have 3 a week). Where did I get this bud? who knows?
Did some one sneeze in the supermarket and I walked thru the cloud a few moments later? I hate it when I am at a restaurant and some3 one at the salad bar starts barking like a seal. So I am staying home today because someone els3e didn't when they should have.

"All about Olives" is a new store in Florence Oregon located in 'Old Town" at 1367 Bay Street. They have alot more than olives to offer. They have olive oils, several dips and spreads. Several kinds of Balsamic vinegars are also available.

Is it living responsibly or is it Hoarding. - 10/01/11 05:47 PM
In the  great depression, nothing was throw away and I mean nothing. Even my mom who was a depression baby didn't throw anything out. When she passed away, her home was a warehouse with trails. She saved rubber bands, bits of string, buttons,ect. There have been some recent post about hoarding.
Where do we draw the line on responsible living and hoarding? We see alot of this when we do listing presentations. I'm sure the current economy, mirroring the great depression plays in here somewhere.
