It's being billed, "Christmas in June" on the front page of the Sports Section.  We're referring to the Lakers - Celtics NBA final.  It's going to be great to watch.  The playoffs begin next week.

Well, it's Thursday already.  Last night the Boston Celtics won and tonight the Lakers have a chance to close out San Antonio.  Both teams moving closer to a NBA Final showdown... LA-Boston, just like the old days.  That would be fantastic.

 Isn't it fantastic how the week flys by when Monday is a holiday?  Here we are and it's already Wednesday.  Sunny and a little warmer today.  Yesterday was very nice.  Today should be like yesterday but just a tad warmer.  It's great living in Southern California.
 The market yesterday finished up 60+ and begins on the upswing this a.m.  Who knows we may be hitting an economic upswing.  I think we are.

A carbon of yesterday.  Unseasonably cool about 70 downtown but beautiful here in LA.  Tonight the Lakers vs the Spurs which should be a good game.

Big surf and windy today and even a chance of thunder showers as we head into the weekend.  Turbulent is the best way to describe our weather... and stock market.  This morning here's the opening bell headline:  Stocks rose on Thursday after a surprise drop in jobless claims and a takeover offer in the utilities sector buoyed investor optimism and offset worries of inflation spurred by crude oil above $135 a barrel.  It's crazy keeping up with this stuff.

Today is Cinco de Mayo!  It's a big celebration day for Mexican-Americans.
