Sunday and all is clear on the western front.  Sunny and warmer... if you call 64 warrm overnight low about 50.  Another storm coming Monday.  We'll wait and see. 
 I made my first E-bay purchase yesterday...  Actually, it took about 2 days to figure it out... but it worked!  What a feeling of accomplishment.  I'll let you know how the rest of the deal works out.  Millions of people use E-bay and I can see why.  Fantastic deals are everywhere.  I bought some art work and it was significantly lower then the same … (0 comments)

Chilly Saturday... high downtown mid 60's overnight lows lower 40's.  So this is how it feels at Christmas time.  Another sports ‘dead zone' Saturday.  Nothing of interest.  I can't wait for Tiger Woods to return to the PGA Tour.

It's Friday, upper 50's downtown and lower 40's at night and possibly another storm headed our way this weekend.  Snow in the local mountains.  So it's shaping up to be a white Christmas.  Merry Christmas to all from Pat and Melody.
 
We see home prices are down across California but sales are up.  It's called supply and demand.  Price is determined by demand.  Real Estate since the beginning of time.

It's cold out there!  Good morning and welcome to the Beverly Hills Real Estate blog.  Snow in the Antelope Valley... no antelope but snow.  Cool, clear and crisp today.  Another storm expexted this weekend.  Only 58 degrees predicted for downtown.  Officials advise that you keep family pets indoors during the cold snap.

Rain, winds, hail expected today and the snow level dropping to 2 thousand feet.  It's Wednesday and welcome to our blog.  It is very cold, for me anyway a native Californian but that's what it is... We've got thin blood... so when it gets cold... so do we.

 The rain started late last night with a downpour.  It has been pouring steadily ever since.  We need the rain and by the looks of things, people in some gated housing areas of Lancaster could use it too. Good morning and welcome to the blog.  Sunny, 77 downtown and a beautiful day is on tap for LA.  Got some news and views for you.  First a quick comment on the chilly weather in the evenings.  We live in a canyon above Hollywood Blvd and I can't remember a time in my lifelong existence here in SoCal being so cold at dusk and into the evening.  It's cold!  50-52 degrees... maybe into the 40's.  Very strange... probably Al Gores fault... Good morning and welcome!  It's Wednesday and all is good.  Sunny, 75 downtown and single-digit humidity.  The only drawback there being an elevated fire risk.  Be careful out there!

The offer we were expecting... The buyers agent called to say... the buyer is still evaluating his offer and may have to sell before he buys our listing.  Apparently the buyer was hoping that a buyer was going to make an offer on his property enabling him to move forward on ours but... Tuesday morning already.  Warm and windy that's the forecast for today.  72 expected downtown and with the winds come fire danger.  Be careful out there.  We are still waiting on the offer for one of our listings.  The agent called us several times threatening to write... Partly cloudy and continued cool today.  Monday's high downtown LA mid to upper 60's.  It must be winter time in SoCal. 
 Last night friends came over and we decorated the Christmas tree.  It was a fun evening and a great way to share the holiday with friends.  The tree looks great!

It's Friday morning!  Good morning and welcome to a sunny and slightly warmer day here in LA.  It will get up into the lower 70's downtown making way for another picture perfect day!
 We did receive an offer on one of our listings yesterday.  Today, we'll sort through it and produce a counter.  It was a full-price offer.  This is indicative of listing at the right price results in offers.  Tomorrow we're expecting another offer on a listing of ours.  We will keep you posted.

The long weekend is in the rear view mirror... It's Monday and it's going to be a nice one... 80's downtown - sunny and bright.  How's that for December 1, 2008?  That is the essence of living in Southern California.
 Black Friday retail business up 7.4% from the previous year.  This fact not enough for the doom sayers (LA Times) etc.  The paper notes the increase but classifies it as not enough to placate the fears of investors.  We think: The economy is strong... the press is weak.  Remember that!
