At least the total number of Wayne Township homes for sale moved in a healthy direction, as there were 761 listings in April, or 0.7 percent fewer, compared to the previous month’s total of 766. Even better is the fact that, compared to last April’s total of 892 homes for sale, this is a 14.7 percent drop in the total number of homes listed on the Wayne Township real estate market. Sale Rise 25.2 Percent in Washington Township in March, 2011 - 05/24/11 06:15 PM
The total number of Washington Township homes for sale rose 5.6 percent, from 1,105 in March to 1,167 in April of 2011. While not many agents cherish the thought of even greater inventories these days there is at last some consolation in the fact that, compared to last April’s total of 1,293 listings, this represents a decrease of 9.7 percent. Warren Township Real Estate Market Report for March, 2011 - 05/24/11 06:13 PM
The total number Warren Township homes for sale fell a slight 0.6 percent, from 810 in March to 805 in April. Versus last April’s total of 888 this represents a 9.3-percent decrease in total listings. Pike Township Market Makes Moves Forward in April, 2011 - 05/24/11 06:12 PM
But there was no shortage of Pike Township homes for sale as a total of 646 listings remained for sale at the conclusion of the month compared to 644 the previous month. While there were 906 Lawrence Township homes for sale in April compared to 896 the previous month this is an increase of just 1.1 percent. To cast this in a positive light, compared to the 1,032 homes that were on the Lawrence Township real estate market last April this represents a decrease of 12.2 percent in total listings. Franklin Township Real Estate Market Report for April, 2011 - 05/24/11 06:07 PM
One thing’s for sure: There was no shortage of folks wanting to sell a home. In April, there were 496 to be exact. This is a 5.3-percent increase versus the previous month’s total of 471 Franklin Township homes for sale. On a related note, the Franklin Township real estate market saw a decrease of 16 percent in the total number of new listings—i.e., listings not carried over from the previous month. Sales Up 25.8 Percent in Decatur Township in April, 2011 - 05/24/11 06:05 PM
As if buyers didn’t already have enough homes from which to choose, there was a 3.2-percent increase in the total number of Decatur Township homes for sale, from 252 in March to 260 in April. But compared to last April’s total of 273 this represents a 4.8-percent drop in the number of homes on the Decatur Township real estate market. Total Listings Down 15.2 Percent in Center Townhship April, 2011 - 05/24/11 06:00 PM
The total number of Center Township homes for sale rose a slight 1.7 percent, from 1,172 in March to 1,192 in April. Versus last April’s total of 1,405, however, this represents a very healthy decrease of 15.2 percent. Also, from February through April of 2011 there were 15.7 percent fewer homes listed on the Center Township real estate market per month compared to this same quarter last year. Zionsvile Real Estate Market Offers Little Reason For Excitement in March, 2011 - 05/20/11 02:34 PM
The Zionsville real estate market experienced a slight 1.8-percent increase in the number of homes listed for sale, from 281 in March to 286 in April. Versus last April’s total of 344 listings this represents a nice 16.9-percent decrease in the total number listings. Of the 286 Zionsville homes for sale in April 70 were brand new listings. In this market, negative growth in any statistical category is rarely a good thing, except when you’re talking about total listings. Plainfield Real Estate Market Report for April, 2011 - 05/20/11 02:30 PM
While there were some positive developments in the Plainfield real estate market in April of 2011 they were hardly anything to write home about. Staring with total listings, there was a 5.7-percent decrease in the total number of Plainfield homes for sale, from 209 in March to 197 in April. April’s figure was down an even greater 12.4 percent versus last year’s total of 225 listings during this same time. Noblesville Real Estate Market Records 34.8 Percent Increase in Sales in April, 2011 - 05/20/11 02:28 PM
Folks in the market to sell a home were not in short supply in Noblesville in April, 2011. Indeed, the total number of Noblesville homes for sale climbed 9 percent in April as there were 663 homes listed for sale on the Noblesville real estate market compared to a total of 608 just one month prior. On the bright side, at least in terms of supply-and-demand, is the fact that, versus last April’s total of 702 listings, this represents a 5.6-percent decrease. One thing there was no shortage in April of 2011 of was people wanting to sell their homes in Mooreseville. The total number of Mooresville homes for sale rose 11.6 percent, from 164 in March to 183 in April. Versus the previous month’s total of 169 this represents a slightly attenuated 8.3 percent increase in total listings. Small Glimmer of Hope for Martinsville Real Estate Market in March, 2011 - 05/20/11 02:22 PM
Never in short supply it seems are people who want to sell a home. In April, there were 259 Martinsville homes for sale, or 4 percent more, compared to the previous month’s total of 249. Versus last April’s total of 12.5 percent this represents a 12.5-percent decrease. Viewed I 3-month increments, the Martinsville real estate market underwent a 12.6-percent decrease in the number of homes listed for sale on a monthly basis from February through April of 2011 compared to this same quarter last year, or 242 total listings per month on average versus 277 respectively. Indianapolis Home Sales Up 2.5 Percent in April, 2011 - 05/20/11 02:20 PM
When it comes to real estate statistics, one stat for which negative movement is a good thing is that of total listings. This, unfortunately, was not the case for the Indianapolis real estate market as there were 7,022 Indianapolis homes for sale, or 2 percent more, compared to the previous month’s total of 6,881. But this represents a 9.8 percent decrease when compared to last April’s total of 7,789 listings. Total Sales in Greenwood Remain Unchanged in April, 2011 - 05/20/11 02:18 PM
The total number of Greenwood homes for sale climbed 2.5 percent, from 717 in March to 735 in April—not great news if you’re a seller or real estate agent trying to sell a home, but also not terrible news either. The total number of Greenfield homes for sale rose 2.7 percent, from 300 in March to 308 in April. Versus last April’s figure of 349 this represents a decrease in total listings of 11.7 percent. Also, the 73 new listings that found their way onto the Greenfield real estate market represents an increase of just 1.3 percent versus the previous month’s total of 72. Several Positive Signs for Franklin Real Estate Market in April, 2011 - 05/20/11 02:14 PM
There were 254 Franklin homes for sale, or 7.2 percent more, in April versus the previous month’s total of 237. Compared to last April, however, this figure is unchanged. Viewed quarterly, there were 1.3 percent more homes listed for sale on the Franklin real estate market per month compared to this same quarter last year, when the monthly average was 240 listings per month. Total Fishers Listings Fall 4 Percent in April, 2011 - 05/20/11 02:11 PM
But in a market that is not wanting for greater inventory there is at least some comfort in the fact that the total of homes listed for sale on the Fishers real estate market fell 4 percent, from 630 in March to 605 in April. This stat looks even better, 10.8 percent to be exact, when compared to last April’s total of 678 Fishers homes for sale. Total pending sales weren’t the only stat on the rise. The total number of Danville homes for sale rose 17.6 percent, from 119 in March to 140 in April. Even compared to April of 2011’s total of 118 this represents an 18.6-percent increase in total listings. Average Time on Market in Carmel Drops 13.6 Percent in April, 2011 - 05/20/11 02:03 PM
There were 890 Carmel homes for sale in April, or 7.5 percent more, compared to the previous month’s total of 828. Compared to last April, this represents a 7.2-percent increase in the number of homes for sale on the Carmel real estate market. Of the 890 homes for sale 94 came in the form of new listings. Avon Real Estate Market Fails to Impress in April, 2011 - 05/20/11 01:55 PM
The total number of Avon homes for sale rose 2 percent, from 345 in March to 352 in April. Versus last April’s total of 392, however, this is a 10.2-percent decrease in total listings. Of the 352 homes listed for sale on the Avon real estate market 80 were new listings. This is down a significant 32.2-percent versus the previous month’s total of 118 new listings.
