Great Rental Market in Florida - 10/07/07 10:19 PM
We are just coming off a very busy season.  Effort is rewarded with a full schedule of incoming renters.  Our family has two rental properties which have been full since April, and one is full as we speak.  These are homes that rent in the 4000-5000-per week in peak season, right now are in the 2000 range--we are in a shoulder season.

Many people are asking questions about how to rent vacation property in Florida.  For Florida or anywhere else in the country, one of the best locations to post property you have to rent is on VRBO.com (vacation rentals by owner).  Members of my family have had great success using this site, and the cost is really very minimal.  Many property managemet companies command 30-40 percent of the rental income for this service.  When one is charging 4000-6000 per week in peak season for rental of a large home, this is a signficant charge.  Remember, if you rent it yourself, you need … (4 comments)
