Along with the woes faced by the United States and the economic trends in real estate we all have to be aware of the Global impacts other large countries have on us directly. Talk today revolves around whether the real estate bubble which China has experienced has burst? Just like the United States the reaction to his question is so varied, the doomsayers say "It has burst", those closely tied to it know the importance of staying positive but are they just being blind to the bubble burst?, and then of course there is a large group in China who just (3 comments)
Showing up is half the battle! - 12/19/11 08:44 AM
Last evening I saw a television commercial, can't even tell you what the product was because the beginning phrase got me - Showing up is your first key to success! Wow how true this is in the Real Estate profession! I cannot tell you the times that I have received a phone call from a consumer only to hear on the other end of the line - I tried three other offices before yours and you are the only one that answered! Answered - just answered - isn't that unbelievable! I showed up and I captured the buyer or the seller. (6 comments)
TEN DAYS TO CHRISTMAS - 12/15/11 10:32 PM
Dear Santa, Ten days till Christmas, seventeen days to 2012! Oh Santa, I know you hear my Christmas wishes, so please listen this year. Santa if you could - could you PLEASE - help all our homeowners who face the holidays wondering if this will be their last year in their home, who wonder how they will tell their children of their move, explain their tears to those children and explain why they can't have the same friends or go to the same school they have been used to. Might they have to leave their toys and bikes behind because of (6 comments)
Increases in Foreclosures on the Horizon??? - 12/15/11 10:08 PM
Increases in Foreclosures on the Horizon??? Fact or Fiction? Today Realty Trac reported that a total of 224,394 properties, down fourteen percent from 2011, received notices of default, auction or repossession. One in 579 United States households received these notices. Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac have established a holiday moratorium on filings so that may defer some filings until January and change the disposition of the numbers reported for January filings. The U.S. housing market must digest more than 14 million distressed properties -- 1.5 million homes in the foreclosure process, 3.5 million with delinquent mortgages and at least 10 million (4 comments)
Federal CELLPHONE BAN???? How will this affect our business? - 12/14/11 07:15 AM
Have you heard that the federal goverment, Transportation Secretary, is trying to ban cellphone use of any kind - TEXTING and RECEIVING AND PLACING phone calls while driving. They do have very graphic evidence of accidents which have been caused by those using cellphones and taking their eyes off the road. It is estimated that you take your eyes off the road for five seconds at a time on the cellphone, doesn't sound very long but the combination of those five seconds and 55 miles an hour spells danger. This ban I am told cannot be put in on a federal (13 comments)

Well we are looking forward to some Holiday activities this weekend on the South Shore of Boston, especially now having a two year old Grandson, Jack, I get to participate in all those fun times which memories are made of! Bright, colorful holiday lights and my most favorite Christmas book of all time, THE POLAR EXPRESS, now that sounds like fun to me. Google Analytics Great News Today! - 12/09/11 06:21 PM
Today Google announced that they are working hard daily to give social sites such as Delicious, Digg, Diigo, Gigya, LiveFyre, ReadItLater, Reddit, TypePad, Vkontakte, Google+, Blogger and Google Groups the ability to determine where the participants of Google Analytics are engaging audiences in these social communities and also attempting to measure their impact. Anyone who has a website should be participating in google analytics - IT IS FREE!, it gives you the feedback you need to see how many people are visiting your site. The instructions are rather simple for you to implement, it only takes a couple of minutes and (0 comments)
2011 December Blogging Challenge-Muldowney - 12/08/11 10:11 AM
Good Morning All, Busy day ahead, two days basically out of the office attending a portion of my Auctioneer's Licensing Class in Massachusetts and hopefully New Hampshire too! have left me playing catch up (again). I am wondering why it took me so long, so very long to really understand how a planned process of taking action even on the simpliest of items makes the job so much easier. The other morning as I walked into the kitchen (and surprise to me my husband had not left for work yet) I did what I was programmed for..turned on the light...but it (0 comments)
