Along with the woes faced by the United States and the economic trends in real estate we all have to be aware of the Global impacts other large countries have on us directly.

Last evening I saw a television commercial, can't even tell you what the product was  because the beginning phrase got me - Showing up is your first key to success!  Wow how true this is in the Real Estate profession!
I cannot tell you the times that I have received a phone call from a consumer only to hear on the other end of the line - I tried three other offices before yours and you are the only one that answered!  Answered - just answered - isn't that unbelievable!  I showed up and I captured the buyer or the seller.

Today Realty Trac reported that a total of 224,394 properties, down fourteen percent from 2011, received notices of default, auction or repossession.
One in 579 United States households received these notices.
Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac have established a holiday moratorium on filings so that may defer some filings until January and change the disposition of the numbers reported for January filings.

Federal CELLPHONE BAN???? How will this affect our business? - 12/14/11 07:15 AM
Have you heard that the federal goverment, Transportation Secretary,  is trying to ban cellphone use of any kind - TEXTING and RECEIVING AND PLACING phone calls while driving.
They do have very graphic evidence of accidents which have been caused by those using cellphones and taking their eyes off the road.  It is estimated that you take your eyes off the road for five seconds at a time on the cellphone, doesn't sound very long but the combination of those five seconds and 55 miles an hour spells danger.

Today Google announced that they are working hard daily to give social sites such as Delicious, Digg, Diigo,

Busy day ahead, two days basically out of the office attending a portion of my Auctioneer's Licensing Class in Massachusetts and hopefully New Hampshire too! have left me playing catch up (again).

Bankers and Tradesman news in Boston today reviewed the comments made by the City of Boston's Mayor Menino regarding the progress Boston is experiencing.   I hope this encourages you as much as it does me, go Boston! grow Boston!
