What "they" dont tell you about living in the Georgia! In GA we get PERFECT Snow Storms!! OH! What a beautiful sight!!! Yes... this IS an actual picture of my neighborhood here in Georgia!!! Last year we had the most snow on one day than we had had in over 15 years!!! My house received 7 whole inches!! The temperature was about 29f and conditions just right! The flurries began about 4 pm on a Friday afternoon and it snowed intil around 10 pm that night. It was absolutely GORGEOUS! My children, and all the children in the neighborhood, (1 comments)
Georgians just are not prepared for this kind of cold. When exterior pipes are subjected to temperatures well below 20f we can expect to see damage like this. The little split in this piping looks benign enough but it sprayed thousands of gallons of water onto the studs, insulation and electrical components of this exterior wall causing a thousand dollars worth of damage! This could have been avoided had the pipes (3 comments)
This marks the beginning of something really BIG...... Yes, Big things that have NOTHING to do with Golf CAN happen in AUGUSTA GA!! An awful lot is happening around here, but I will start in the beginning.
The Augusta GA area is often referred to as the "CSRA". Now, non-locals react to that with "What the heck IS "the CSRA". Understandably, this acronym seems to have nothing to do with Augusta GA. But it really describes the area quite well. Central Savannah River Area = C S R A It actually encompasses much more than just AUGUSTA proper. It (4 comments)
