What "they" dont tell you about living in the Georgia! In GA we get PERFECT Snow Storms!! OH! What a beautiful sight!!! Yes... this IS an actual picture of my neighborhood here in Georgia!!! Last year we had the most snow on one day than we had had in over 15 years!!! My house received 7 whole inches!! The temperature was about 29f and conditions just right! WHO can afford a home? Even in Augusta Martinez Grovetown Ga where the initial cost of a home is quite reasonable in comparison with the rest of the country~! As a GENERAL rule, if someone can afford a home, they should probably buy one rather than rent. Now... WHAT does Afford a home mean? It means more than just saving the 3-5% down payment.
